As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer in a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor for security-related concerns such as unauthorized access, property damage, suspicious activity, and hazards, and report observations to appropriate personnel. Assist with access control, traffic flow, and direction-giving for shoppers and visitors as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
