Registered Nurse, Telemetry, 36 Hours (Day/Night / Every 3rd Weekend)

Position Summary Boston Medical Center Brighton B6/Telemetry unit is a 32‑bed unit providing care for intermediate level medical‑surgical patients. The unit serves a wide range of general medical diagnoses and has a specialty focus on cardiology. Essential Responsibilities / Duties Deliver nursing care in the medical–surgical setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients. Communicate effectively with health‑care team members, patients, and families. Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to inter‑professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records and enter/interpret computerized data. Follow guidelines and policies established by the nursing organization. Assist leadership in quality improvement projects as needed. Job Requirements Education: Nursing degree—Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain a BSN within 4 years. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); PCC certification required within 1 year of hire. Licensure: Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Experience: 1+ years of RN experience preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
