(Two Saturdays per month required)The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.Department/Center Highlights:Patient-Focused TeamCohesive and Friendly Work EnvironmentSupportive and Encouraging AtmosphereHere is what you will need:Texas Medical Board License - TMBCurrent ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic TechnologyContinuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:Provide services and support for the following areas:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis WayConsistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;Performs other work-related duties as assigned.Why Solis Mammography?A Great Place to Work, earning this prestigious award for multiple years running.Offer competitive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Backup Child/Adult Care as well as other unique benefits.*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)).
