Shift Managers are hands-on leaders who keep the restaurant running smoothly while bringing the Five Guys experience to life — great food, friendly service, a clean restaurant, and a team that's ready to rock! This isn't a "stand back and supervise" role; Shift Managers are expected to jump in, lead from the front, and be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of the Crew Member position while directing the shift, coaching the team, managing food safety, and keeping service fast and accurate. From opening the restaurant and preparing for the day to leading through the rush, maintaining brand standards, and closing things down the right way, Shift Managers own the performance of their assigned shift and ensure the restaurant is always ready for our guests, operational visits, food safety audits, and brand evaluations.

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 18 years old
• High school diploma, some post-high school education a plus
• 1-2 years previous leadership experience in some capacity

Work Environment:

• This position works in an environment where peanuts and peanut products are present and handled throughout the restaurant. Employees may have regular or repeated exposure to peanuts, peanut dust, peanut oils, and other peanut-containing materials during normal job duties.
