Commercial HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join Wendel Mechanical. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients enjoy a comfortable and safe environment while maximizing energy efficiency. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, rooftop units, chillers, and ventilation systems. Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and component failures. Inspect and test HVAC systems to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific HVAC requirements and provide cost-effective solutions. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance and repair logs. Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging HVAC technologies. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues promptly. Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Valid HVAC technician license/certification, as required by state regulations. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, as needed.
