Position Overview The Carrier Sales Representative is an entry‑level, high‑growth sales role within our fast‑paced brokerage operation. In this role, you will develop core skills in carrier sourcing, relationship management, and rate negotiation while playing a critical part in covering customer freight. You will work in a high-volume, performance-driven environment , gaining hands‑on experience in market strategy, pricing, and logistics execution—laying the foundation for future growth and advancement. What You’ll Do Drive carrier capacity by making high‑volume outbound calls to source and secure trucks Negotiate competitive freight rates and service terms with carriers Build and grow a carrier portfolio , focusing on long‑term partnerships Coordinate and execute shipments from pickup through delivery with real‑time problem solving Track and manage loads while proactively communicating updates to internal teams Analyze market trends (pricing, capacity, seasonality) to make informed decisions Ensure compliance and accuracy of carrier documentation, load details, and transit requirements Resolve service issues quickly to maintain customer satisfaction Utilize TMS and load boards to optimize carrier selection and execution Represent EFS professionally in all carrier and internal interactions What Success Looks Like Consistently covering loads within required timelines and margins Building a reliable network of repeat carriers Demonstrating strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills Meeting or exceeding activity and performance KPIs Contributing to team revenue growth and operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) 0–2 years of experience in sales, logistics, or customer‑facing roles Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship‑building skillsAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy sales environment Highly motivated, competitive, and goal‑oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn TMS platforms quickly Why Join EFS?
