Associate Attorney- Civil Litigation

Wayman, Irvin & McAuley, LLC, a well-established Wexford civil litigation defense firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 5–10 years of civil litigation experience to join our practice. Job Description The successful candidate will manage a diverse civil litigation caseload and work closely with clients, insurance representatives, and experienced trial attorneys. Responsibilities include: Managing cases from inception through resolution. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Conducting legal research and preparing written analyses. Taking and defending depositions. Preparing and responding to written discovery. Attending court hearings, conferences, and other proceedings. Communicating effectively with clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, and the courts. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Five to ten years of civil litigation experience. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills. The ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively in a collegial team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills.
