With a skilled team of 20 providers, the clinic serves 175 to 300 patients daily, offering comprehensive services from pediatric check-ups and immunizations to adult wellness exams, chronic illness management, and women's health care. Known for personalized attention and high-quality care, the clinic is a trusted choice for families seeking exceptional medical services in a welcoming environment.Location: 234 Crooked Creek Parkway, Suite 200, Durham, NC 27713Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - FridayWhat you will do:As a Clinical Nurse IV, you will provide expert patient care while serving as a leader and resource for fellow nursing staff. In this role, you'll deliver specialized nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement and research initiatives, and contribute to educational and professional development activities. You'll help drive exceptional patient outcomes while ensuring care is delivered in accordance with nursing standards and the North Carolina Board of Nursing scope of practice.Identify care needs for patient populations across the continuum of care. Collaborate and provide leadership in the development of standards of care, patient/family education and staff education to address the needs of specific populations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and provide leadership with in the delivery of patient care.Provide leadership in educational activities, departmental committees, research projects and other health-related projects.Provide evaluation, direction and guidance in the proper selection, use, care and control of material resources. Appraise quality and effectiveness of material and equipment and collaborate with appropriate departments to assist with vendor selection and feedback on performance.Guide the professional growth of others across the continuum of care through role modeling, coaching and/or mentoring. This may include designing orientation modules, primary precepting of senior nursing students.Provide leadership at a departmental, entity, community or regional/national level for initiatives focused on improving the quality of care for populations of patients and growth of others.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.What you will need:EducationWork requires graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the BSN program within seven years of their start date.ExperienceApplicants must meet all requirements set forth by the DUHS Career Ladder Program for the level IV.Degrees, Licensure, and/or CertificationMust have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
