Senior Claims Specialist

Summary As a Sr. Technical Specialist, you will manage complex, high‑exposure construction liability claims and serve as a technical resource to customers, field teams, and business partners. Key Responsibilities Independently manage a caseload of complex or technical construction liability claims. Conduct detailed inspections and interviews to gather comprehensive information and assess claim validity. Analyze and interpret intricate policy language, endorsements, and exclusions to make informed claim decisions. Maintain detailed and accurate claim documentation in compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently. Handle customer escalations and complex inquiries with professionalism and expertise. Provide guidance and mentorship to Claim Representatives and trainees, sharing best practices to foster their development. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Seven years of experience in insurance claims, preferably construction liability claims. Experience with claims management and software systems. Strong understanding of insurance principles, terminology, and the ability to interpret policies. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proven ability to handle complex claims and negotiate settlements. Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive experience for insureds and claimants. High school diploma or GED required; at least three years of liability claim handling or comparable litigation experience. Possession of an insurance license is required or must be obtained within three months of starting the job. Compensation Base salary range: $94,400.00 – $155,800.00 (nationwide market). Eligible for performance‑based cash incentive awards.
