Job Overview

Manage all aspects of the care and cleaning of guest, staff and management laundry. Work with the dry-cleaning vendor to ensure that all items are taken care of according to brand standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate equipment necessary to sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold and package guest laundry and dry cleaning, employee clothing and uniforms.
• Log, tag and package guest and employee clothing and uniforms.
• Iron and fold guest room and Food & Beverage flat work.
• Pick up from and deliver to guest rooms and uniforms room all clothing which is in need of cleaning or has been cleaned.
• Maintain an acceptable state of cleanliness and organization throughout the entire work area.
• Collect and issue uniforms.
• Assist in the pickup and delivery process of the hotel's linen and terry. Weigh and inventory of carts and track discarded materials.
• Conduct monthly uniform and laundry inventories.
• Knowledge of sewing, measurements, pressing and finishing of both guest and staff garments.
