Produce and review invoice and purchase order (PO) reports to assist with issue resolution; ensuring the invoice aging report is distributed to key partners. Respond to supplier and divisional inquiries, reconciling invoice statements, and resolving invoice issues.**WHAT YOU’LL DO*** Respond to escalated vendor, division, or other key partner inquiries related to invoicing and payment processing issues.* Serve as a liaison to Abbott divisions, performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of supplier accounts, statements, purchases, and payments as requested.* Communicates with supplier accounts receivable and all layers of accounting staff to address disputes, escalating urgent issues to management.* Document repetitive PO errors, work with Procurement to establish root causes which result in errors; offer solutions to resolve disputes and implements corrective actions with guidance from management.* Assist suppliers with resolving purchase order and invoice exceptions and discrepancies.* Perform quality control related to invoice processing; provide feedback to third-party processor.* Review and evaluate the invoice aging report; ensure timely distribution to stakeholders and partners.* Support customer service by assisting the help desk; resolve critical escalations and provide feedback regarding invoice issue resolution as needed.* Perform other duties as assigned.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING*** Experience Required: 1-3 years of Accounts Payable, Treasury or Finance experience in a large, decentralized organization.* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.* Knowledge of SAP Financials or other enterprise financial system.**Education Required:*** Associate’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or other Finance related major; or 60+ hours of post-secondary education is required.**Misc:** This is an onsite role at Abbott location in **IL** This is **not a remote** role/opportunity.Apply Now* **Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:** Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
