Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer with 2+ years of dedicated vascular lab experience for a 13-week assignment in a small, outpatient-focused vascular lab.

Details

• Vascular Lab setting with mostly outpatient and some inpatient exams
• Small team of 3 full-time and 2 per diem sonographers
• Patient population is mostly adults with very rare pediatric cases
• Generous scan times with rare portable exams
• 10hr day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Wednesdays off
• Rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular experience in an acute care vascular lab setting
• Unit-specific experience within the last 6-9 months preferred
• BLS certification required
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS required
• Active NH license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Would consider candidates without pediatric experience given required vascular experience

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered if they have 2+ years of experience in a dedicated vascular lab
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former perm staff may return as a travelers after a 12-month break in service
• 3 professional references required once committed, including 2 from leadership
