Company Allegheny Health Network Job Description Canonsburg EMS provides emergency and non‑emergency care to Canonsburg Borough, Chartiers Township, Donegal Township and Houston Borough Seeking passionate individuals to join us in delivering exceptional prehospital care Full‑time or casual hours available General Overview Provides emergency medical care to the sick and injured patients in the pre‑hospital environment; effectively communicates with all persons and departments involved in the administration of Emergency Medical Care. Essential Responsibilities Determines nature and extent of illness or injury; provide basic and advanced life support to the critically ill and injured during treatment and transport in the pre‑hospital setting. (50%) Drives emergency or response vehicle. (20%) Completes required documentation according to regulatory standards. (15%) Maintains equipment and inventory of supplies including BLS and ALS and has accountability for medications on every EMS unit per regulatory standards. (15%) Performs other duties as assigned or required.
