Mechanical Superintendent

Diversified Construction & Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join our Mechanical Division. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Project Managers, other relevant management, and clients to ensure projects are executed within budget and on time. Lead and support a team of workers, including managing work schedules, project progress and resource allocation. Promote our safety culture by enforcing safety procedures, including educating new employees on safety procedures, regulations, and expectations. Propose potential adjustments within operations as necessary to best meet project deadlines and budgets. Engage with the workforce to establish relationships that promote communication, transparency, and accountability. Knowledge of local, state and federal construction regulations. Coordinate supply deliveries with vendors as needed. Maintain a log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary. Demonstrate knowledge of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and identifying signs of maintenance issues. Travel to and from client location as needed. Promote company’s growth vision and long-term strategic goals. Skills: Effective communication, including active listening, is a crucial leadership skill.
