Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

The Opportunity:We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development of technical solutions for our Wargaming and Modeling & Simulations team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building software, learning new technologies, and working independently within a small technical team.The engineer will contribute across the application stack, including user interfaces, backend services, data integration, testing, and deployment. Work with users and technical team members to understand requirements and build practical software solutions. Develop and maintain web applications across frontend and backend components. Build backend services, APIs, and application logic using Python. Develop user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks and languages and i ntegrate applications with databases, APIs, and other data sources. Write, test, debug, and maintain reliable software. Other responsibilities include u sing Git and collaborative software development workflows, r esearching unfamiliar technical problems and evaluating new tools and approaches, and c ontributing to application deployment, automation, and technical documentation.We are looking for a curious, self-directed engineer who has strong software fundamentals and is excited to learn. The ideal candidate does not need experience with every technology we use but should be comfortable researching new problems, experimenting with unfamiliar tools, and taking ownership of technical tasks from development through deployment.Join us. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
