Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

The CT Technologist will be responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This includes the performance of various imaging procedures while adhering to established safety and procedural standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, and C-arm procedures.
• Conduct routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in processing of CT systems and conducting surgical/sterile procedures.
• Administer studies with or without contrast media.
• Understand and apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed as a general radiographer by the state.
• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, with prior travel experience.
