All About People/People Med has partnered with one of Cincinati's most highly respected hospital groups to assist with hiring a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist for their Cath Lab. This 13 week contract has a high likelihood of extending for multiple contracts, if desired. Title : Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist

Location: Cincninnati, OH

Pay: $3500/weekly gross

Schedule: 4x10 7a-530pm plus call

 

The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist plays a critical role within the dedicated Cardiovascular Imaging Team, supporting radiologists and cardiologists with high-quality cardiovascular imaging procedures. This position involves preparing patients, acquiring and analyzing images, ensuring radiation safety, and assisting during catheterization lab procedures, including use of specialized devices like the Impella .

 

Responsibilities

• Acquire precise cardiovascular imaging for diagnostic and interventional purposes
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Analyze images for quality assurance before submission
• Maintain adherence to radiation safety protocols
• Document and report imaging findings accurately
• Assist as scrub technician to Cariologist/Radiologist during catheterization lab procedures
• Operate and monitor Impella cardiac assist devices during interventions
• Perform arterial and venous sheath removal as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in cardiovascular radiology
• State Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT(R) certification
• Proficiency with cardiovascular imaging techniques and equipment operation
• Comprehensive knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Experience working collaboratively within a cardiovascular imaging team
• Familiarity with Impella devices and arterial/venous sheath removal techniques
