The Veterinary Assistant will support the daily operations of a small animal clinic by assisting veterinarians and technicians in providing excellent care to pets. This role involves preparing treatment areas, handling animals with care, and ensuring a clean and organized environment to facilitate medical procedures and client interactions.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with clinical tasks and animal care
• Prepare and sanitize examination and treatment areas
• Handle and restrain small animals safely and compassionately
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Support client communication and customer service efforts
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with clinic sanitation and safety protocols

 

Required Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in veterinary assistance
• High school diploma or equivalent
