MRI Technologist

Location: Southwoods Imaging – Boardman, OH Southwoods Health is seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. Your Role As an MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring the highest standards of safety and patient care. Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence: Perform MRI procedures accurately according to physician orders and established protocols. Safety First: Educate patients and staff on MRI safety; strictly adhere to screening protocols for the magnet room. Patient Care: Monitor patient status throughout the procedure and communicate effectively with the care team. Technical Maintenance: Prepare supplies, maintain a sterile environment, and perform required quality control (QC) and equipment calibrations. Compliance: Ensure all work areas meet regulatory standards (OSHA, ODH, TJC) and maintain accurate medical records. What You Bring Certification: ARRT registered; MR registry preferred. Licensure: Valid Ohio Radiologic License (preferred). Life Safety: Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
