ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, and configuration of ITSM tools for a large NYC government agency. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer to work on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations within a mission-driven public sector environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ITSM tools, with a primary focus on ServiceNow
• Configure and customize all aspects of the ServiceNow platform, including UI Actions, UI Policies, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Include Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, and Email Scripts
• Build and maintain Scripted Web Services, REST, and SOAP web services
• Manage Roles and Groups within the ServiceNow platform
• Support and execute ServiceNow version upgrades
• Apply working knowledge of Discovery and Application Dependency Mapping using tools such as ServiceNow Service Mapping, ADM, SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor, Dynatrace, or Device42
• Collaborate effectively within a large government agency environment, adhering to established governance and change management processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business, Information Management, or a related field
• Strong JavaScript development skills
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and MySQL
• Solid understanding of configuration management principles
• Working knowledge of ITIL Foundations concepts
• Prior experience working with or for a large government agency strongly preferred

Important Note: This position requires candidates to be engaged on W2 basis only. We are not accepting Corp-to-Corp (C2C) or third-party subcontracting arrangements for this role.
