COTA - Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Modesto, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or OTA program. Active California OTA license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. (Client may require BLS at hire.) Minimum 1 year of experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and transfer training preferred. Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Occupational Therapist and document progress in electronic medical records. Ability to work with geriatric population and patients with complex medical comorbidities preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days.
