Position Opening: Medical Device, ENT Product Support Specialist II

The Production Technical Support Specialist II manufactures and hand assembles new product in batch form. Reviews, analyses, and evaluates speech, voice, and swallowing systems for the PENTAX Medical ENT product line.

Responsibilities of Medical Device, Production Technical Support Specialist II

• Perform hands-on assembly, installation, testing, and repair of electro-mechanical medical devices, subassemblies and accessories.
• Install, assemble, and test hardware and peripheral components.
• Identify problems with system integration of multiple devices and provide guidance to resolve the problems and promote swift resolutions.
• Assess product concerns to determine next steps, including repair, replacement, or escalation.
• Offer technical analysis and customer service to ENT sales team and customers determining device issues, required steps for repair, and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot device functionality issues and guide customers through clear, step-by-step solutions.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify hardware or performance issues.
• Document customer interactions, findings, and resolutions accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of product concerns.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Medical Device, Production Technical Support Specialist II

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with hands-on technical products
• 4-7 years of experience in a production environment
• Advanced knowledge of PENTAX Medical ENT products and services preferred
• Excellent communication, writing and documentation skills
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Experience in navigating operating systems, and Microsoft suites
• Knowledge of power tools, electrical testing tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to prioritize jobs and escalate when necessary
