Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and transportation needs. Track and monitor shipments, resolving delays or service issues as they arise. Maintain accurate shipping records, documentation, and transportation reports. Verify freight charges, rates, and delivery information. Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Assist in optimizing transportation routes and logistics processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Operate forklifts as necessary Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of experience 2+ years' experience performing warehouse and materials handling, inventory management, forklift/power equipment operation, and shipping/receiving duties. Experienced with standard functions within MS Office applications such as: MS Outlook, Excel, Access, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task, problem solve and remain highly organized and detail oriented Possess strong work ethic. Available to work overtime hours when needed. Immigration sponsorship not offered for this position. Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Additional overtime may be required. Shifts typically range from 8–12 hours, with potential overtime on Saturdays. Core Competencies: A desire to succeed and good work ethic, excellent oral and written, communication, and organizational skills. Flexible, self-starter hands-on, attention to detail. Outstanding time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Must be proficient in customer service and possess the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
