Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging. The MRI Technologist will work independently and efficiently, ensuring all protocols and standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans on patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI technology and safety standards.
• Administer contrast media as required for specific procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with medical team members to discuss patient care plans.
• Manage and maintain MRI equipment and reporting incidents or malfunctions.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT Advanced certification required.
• Active Florida state license.
• Experience with Siemens MRI machines and PACS system.
• Knowledge of neuro exams, vascular exams, and post-operative care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
