OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Norwalk, CT by HMD Trucking

Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits

- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Vacancy description
Drive coast to coast with HMD Trucking, hauling flatbed loads from Norwalk, CT and beyond.
Role Overview:
- Operate flatbed trailers on long-haul routes
- Secure, tarp, and inspect freight to ensure safety
- Manage logs, mileage, and compliance paperwork
What We Provide:
- $0.70 per mile starting pay plus $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
