Swope Health is seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Family Physician to be a part of its mission to provide the highest quality care to patients who need it the most. Our Physicians provide primary patient care as a member of the health care team, offer clinical instruction, collaborate in the medical management of patients, and serve as a consultant and liaison to improve patient care and health. Location Hickman Mill Clinic 8800 Blue Ridge Blvd 2nd Floor Kansas City, MO 64138, USA Responsibilities Examines patients to determine presence of disease and to establish preventive health practices. Prescribes and administers medications or delegates immunization duties to the clinical support staff. Performs minor, uncomplicated ambulatory surgical procedures, consistent with limitations of a community health center. Available during working hours for on-site Health Center coverage and for the rotation of nighttime and weekend emergency calls as assigned. Assists in developing programs utilizing staff and outside resources to ensure comprehensive state of the art medical care. Responsible for supervision of other assigned practitioners to the clinic site as applicable. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy licensed in the State of Missouri and Kansas Demonstrated professional competence and ethical conduct of practice. Successful completion of an accredited three‑year primary care (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine) residency. Board certification or eligibility.
