What will I do as a Pharmacy Shipping Clerk:

You will accurately process, pack, and ship medication to our patients within tight timeframes. You'll need to have great attention to detail as this role involves verifying medication details, addresses, and ensuring all shipments are prepared according to strict standards. You will also manage inventory, organize storage areas, and support the pharmacy in maintaining necessary supplies.

• Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
• Verify addresses and medications to ensure accuracy
• Organize, pack, and ship medications to meet scheduled pick-up times
• Order and manage supplies necessary for pharmacy operations
• Stock and organize storage areas efficiently
• Maintain and restock inventory as needed
• Transfer large cases of ice from storage to shipping area
• Work under the supervision of a pharmacist and adhere to role restrictions (no performing duties of pharmacists or technicians)
• Demonstrate strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Experience in a shipping role highly preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Able to use a computer and other office technology
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Fine Motor Skills
• Visual acuity
