Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Charleston, SC. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients on a busy medical-surgical floor. The role requires skilled nursing procedures, excellent communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient interaction.

Job Details

Certifications: BLS required.
Education and Experience Requirements: 1 year of experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse, with at least a 1-year minimum experience.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The unit includes 42 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, potentially up to 1:7. Staff will float as needed. Responsibilities include wound care, Foley catheters, and trach care. The unit recently received a Great Catch award for patient safety and was recognized for the most improved fall rate.
