Registered Nurse – ICU (Nights)

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Use clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions in an ICU setting
• Provide specialized care for critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator management, CRRT, and balloon pump support
• Care for cardiovascular patients including those post-procedure for PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
• Support care of open heart surgery patients in the post-operative period
• Manage patients with congestive heart failure and those undergoing electrophysiology studies
• Float to similar units such as Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct ICU experience (float experience does not qualify)
• EKG experience required
• Willingness to float to similar units required
• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma settings
• Ventilator management experience
• Experience with CRRT and intra-aortic balloon pumps
