Locum Optometrist Opportunity
Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Locum Optometrist. Details are below.
Pay: $120.00/hour Housing and flights provided for the Optometrist
Locum Optometrist Opportunity:
- Examine patient's eyes to detect vision problems, diseases, and other abnormal conditions
- Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and may prescribe drugs to treat eye disorders
- Engage in patient education regarding the care and treatment of eye conditions
- Optometrist must provide clinical eye care services in accordance to the hospital's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures while applying standards of the eye care profession.
Locum Optometrist Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry
- Must have 2 years of experience
- Looking for a team-player
The Location: Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage. No state income tax and permanent fund dividend after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency Great fishing, hunting, and wildlife including the ability to go see polar bears and sled dogs.
