Travel RN - TelemetryAmerican Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Telemetry for a night shift contract requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tel experience and prior travel nursing experience.Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week6-week contractRequired to float to all four MS/Tel units at the facilityEvery other weekend requiredHoliday coverage required (1-2 holidays during contract)No on-call responsibilitiesUses Epic EMRActive IL RN license requiredCurrent BLS certification (American Heart or American Red Cross only)Minimum 2 years of MS/Tel experience requiredMust be able to pass an EKG test on first day of orientationPrior travel nursing experience required, with at least 1 completed travel assignmentNew graduates will not be consideredEpic EMR experience requiredMust pass a Relias EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration2 professional references required, with 1 reference from the most recent travel assignmentDate of birth required for considerationProvide telemetry nursing care within a medical-surgical/telemetry unit setting8-hour classroom orientation, with first shift serving as unit orientationOn-site EKG test required on Day 1 of orientation (pass/fail); failure to pass will result in contract terminationA study guide will be provided to prepare for the Day 1 EKG testLocal candidates accepted at the same pay rateCandidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facilityFirst-time travelers will not be considered for this roleReturning permanent or per diem staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 12 months to be considered as a travelerRTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 6-week contractCandidates should expect a brief interview (10-15 minutes) with the facility as part of the hiring process
