As a Security Officer Roving Site Patrol in South Bend, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. You’ll contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while supporting a welcoming, well-managed environment.

Pay Rate: $17.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry into restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document patrol findings and security-related incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and emergency personnel as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
