Aerospace Quality Inspector - 2nd shift

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. Pay Range: $24 to $28 per hour. Several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role responsibilities, candidate’s work experience, skills and education. Job Overview Inspection of simple product configurations through the use of single element gauging. Uses fixed or variable measuring instruments to inspect parts, products and/or processes and ensure conformance with standards. Checks for irregularities and defects. Verifies specified dimensions on products or materials. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret the requirements of drawings and plans. Analyze planning requirements and determine appropriate inspection methods for product acceptance. Operate go/no-go inspection equipment, including single element gauging (calipers/micrometers) under instructions. Apply visual inspection techniques and perform go/no-go gauge type inspections. Initiate and complete all quality inspection related records and documents under direct supervision. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Aptitude to perform simple (single element) part inspections under minimal supervision.
