We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative maternity care environment supporting approximately 850-900 births annually .

About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum for mothers and newborns.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Previous Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required (additional certifications may be required by the facility).
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced maternity care environment.
