Practice Overview

• Become part of a dedicated team of two Cardiothoracic Surgeons engaged in a full-time, diverse cardiac and general thoracic community practice.

• Participate in a shared weekend on-call schedule among three physicians across multiple hospitals.

• The care team comprises five experienced Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), two Registered Nurses (RNs), and one Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

• Enjoy a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, potential bonuses, an annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) stipend, and a CTO allotment.

Services Provided:

1. Established Excellence in Cardiac Surgery

• Coronary artery bypass, including re-operative procedures.

• Complex valve repair and replacement surgeries.

• Aortic and Aortic Root reconstruction.

• Surgical interventions for Thoracic Aortic Disease (TEVAR).

• Atrial Fibrillation ablation procedures.

• TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement).

1. Innovative Surgery for Chest, Lung, and Esophagus

• Robotic-assisted lung cancer surgeries since 2006.

• Surgeries addressing motility disorders of the esophagus and Zenker's diverticulum.

• Minimally invasive techniques for esophageal cancer, benign esophageal conditions, diaphragm defect repairs, myasthenia gravis, thymus tumors, and complex hiatal hernia repairs.

1. Comprehensive Stroke Prevention Surgery

• Carotid endarterectomy procedures.

• TCAR (trans-carotid artery revascularization) procedures.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited surgical residency program.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

• Experience and interest in cardiac surgery, including CAB, mitral valve repair/replacement, aortic valve replacement and root reconstruction, ascending aorta and arch reconstruction, robotic general thoracic surgery, and TAVR.
