About the Role:
Kickstand's Pub & Grub in Saint James City, FL is looking for a Certified Bartender to join our crew and keep the good times flowing! If you love crafting great drinks, connecting with guests, and thriving in a lively pub atmosphere, this could be your perfect pour. Responsibilities:
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service and a memorable pub experience
- Verify guest age and comply with all Florida alcohol service laws and regulations
- Process payments, handle cash, and operate the POS system accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service (TIPS/RBS)
Requirements:
- Valid bartending certification required
- Prior bartending or bar service experience in a pub, restaurant, or high-volume setting preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, draft beer systems, and wine service
- TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification a plus
- Strong communication skills and an outgoing, guest-first personality
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the state of Florida (18+)
