Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Applications Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production software and hardware.
• Develop and implement improvements to existing manufacturing processes and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for new applications.
• Configure and optimize manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related software.
• Create and maintain documentation for applications, configurations, and procedures.
• Conduct training for end-users on new and updated manufacturing applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical support and solutions to complex customer challenges.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES or other manufacturing execution systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• CAD/CAM software experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
