Financial Advisor, TD Wealth Location: Downingtown, Pennsylvania Hours: 40 per week | Salary: $61,880 - $108,160 USD Role Overview The Financial Advisor (FA) role is a three-year program with a forgiving draw, aimed at financial advisors or planners who provide financial planning guidance and sell investment management solutions. The FA will leverage experience to service the unique and complex needs of TD Wealth clients by reviewing financial goals and making investment recommendations aligned to the client’s objectives. The FA will serve as the central point of contact, responsible for client service and developing relationships to achieve greater share of wallet while helping clients achieve goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection. Key Responsibilities Deliver a complete onboarding experience for new clients, including client discovery, financial needs analysis, introduction to the client‑servicing team, and completion of all required documentation. Partner to promote lead generation and manage client relationships with TD Bank and referrals to Retail, Wealth, and Small Business/Commercial partners. Ensure new and existing clients receive an annual client review (ACR) with an enhanced agenda focused on overall wealth needs. Serve as primary point of contact for TD Wealth client relationships, managing all aspects of the relationship and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and deepen wallet share by anticipating client needs and suggesting appropriate Wealth solutions. Identify opportunities within portfolios and networks to refer business to Retail and Small Business/Commercial partners. Execute processes compliant with the firm’s policies and relevant regulations (e.g., OCC, SEC, SRO). Maintain continuing education requirements and understand and adhere to TD Bank & TD Wealth policies. Implement customer identity program (CIP) procedures, including due diligence and enhanced due diligence. Provide coaching, referral training, and ongoing feedback to Retail and Small Business staff; mentor new FAs. Represent TD Wealth at community events, supporting TDBG charity and community initiatives. Required Qualifications & Licenses Minimum bachelor's degree (strongly preferred). 2+ years providing financial advice, planning, and investment sales experience. Required: SIE, Series7, Series63, and L&H plus Series66 or equivalent; ability to obtain all licenses. Self‑directed with strong planning skills to achieve sales and referral goals. Advanced understanding of wealth products and services, strong verbal and written communication skills, and organizational and time‑management abilities. Ability to travel within assigned market five days a week; commute within territory. Strong knowledge of wealth management business development techniques and experience with retail and small business banking clients. Consultative sales experience required; proven ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with other departments; proven ability to achieve sales goals.
