Job Description As a Security Officer Upscale Armed Retail in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide courteous customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of the food and beverage distribution location, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, and receiving areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated entry points and help maintain orderly access to loading docks, warehouse areas, and other restricted locations. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement and/or military experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
