Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Transmission Line Engineer to join our team. This role involves performing engineering calculations for transmission line support systems, assisting in the planning, design, and construction management of transmission line projects, and participating in a career development program. The position offers the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced engineers and contribute to maintaining transmission design standards and information systems.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Autocad
• Knowledge of transmission line engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and external partners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interest in supporting grid modernization and the energy transition.
• Desire to be part of a utility investing in renewable integration.
• Support for PE licensure and professional development.

Work Environment

The position requires office presence five days a week, with potential flexibility to work from home on Fridays as the individual settles in. The role may occasionally involve field visits with coworkers, utilizing company vehicles. This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $82000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
