Leasing Consultant

Dietz Property Group is seeking a sales professionals to become a Full-time Leasing Consultant (40 hours per week) with us at one of our premier apartment communities in the Canal Winchester, OH area. You must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a sales or face-to-face customer service role and be able to perform the necessary requirements outlined below to be considered for this position. DUTIES: The specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: * Make and take phone calls with prospective customers and residents, describing the community's features, benefits and value * Perform sales presentations and tours to prospective customers -- must be able to identify and sell to the customer's needs * Accurately prepare/process required screenings and paperwork for applicants, new residents and residents renewing their lease * Create and participate in resident social activities * Provide quality, professional service to prospective residents, current residents, team members and vendors * And other various required duties related to the position These items are considered to be essential functions of this position. (Notes: These essential functions may vary from site to site due to site specific issues) IDEAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE: * Natural ability to express positive enthusiasm and connect with people * Selling/closing skills * Ability to maintain a professional office and work space * Experience with Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and internet * Ability to work flexible schedule. WORK SCHEDULE This is a full-time Leasing Consultant position for which the hours vary depending on the property needs but mostly is Tuesday-Saturday 9 to 6.
