Job Description Job Description Position: Controller Location: Seattle Schedule: Monday through Friday, business hours Pay: $100,000-$125,000 ***This is a full-time position directly with our client.*** Express Employment Professionals – North Seattle is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day finance and accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely reporting, manage compliance obligations, and provide strategic financial insight to ownership and leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who values accuracy, and collaboration. Responsibilities Own the full accounting function — GL, AP/AR, payroll, and close — while maintaining strong internal controls and clean, audit-ready financials Drive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the analytical chops to translate numbers into actionable recommendations for leadership Manage banking, cash flow, and treasury, and coordinate all tax compliance, audits, and external CPA relationships Serve as a strategic finance partner to ownership and department heads, with a hand in process improvement, systems, and operational decisions Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams Benefit Offerings (Eligibility Varies) Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401K Paid time off Equal Opportunity & Inclusion Express Employment Professionals – North Seattle, WA is an equal opportunity employer.
