The all-new Madison Resort Wildwood Crest, formerly known as the Oceanview Motel, is a beach front property that was built in 1963, and at the time was the largest motel ever built in The Wildwoods. Recently purchased by Madison Resorts, this property was fully restored and won Best New Hotel by USA Today for 2025!The property consists of a hotel, which boasts over 200 hotel rooms, multiple restaurants, multiple pools, complimentary valet service, and of course beach service with much more to come in future years.**Summary:**The role of the Housekeeper is to ensure hotel rooms are clean, orderly, attractive, equipment operating as intended, and ready for use to meet the guest arrival schedule.**Responsibilities:*** Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.* Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.* Mops and vacuums all floors daily, and cleans mops after each use.* Cleans and disinfects sink, toilet and tub-shower, restocks soap and toilet paper and provides clean towels as needed.* Washes windows and window coverings in all rooms as needed.* Dusts all counter tops, bedroom dresser tops and furniture as needed.* Dusts paintings and door jams in rooms and hallways weekly.* Empties all trash cans on a daily basis and disposes of trash in designated areas.* Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures.* Reports any broken items such as beds, chairs and fixtures to management.* Replace light bulbs as needed.* Assures all unnecessary lights are turned off as required.* Performs other related duties as assigned.## Qualifications* Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis* Oral Communication Skills* Written Communication Skills* Reading Skills* Organization* Time Management* Professionalism* Ability to stand for extended periods of time**Disclaimer**“This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
