We are looking for a Cook/Dishwasher hybrid position in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities for Cook Follows all recipes and performs food preparation & cooking duties including meat, salad, appetizers, entree, etc. Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation Responsibilities for Dishwasher Follows sanitation standards and always keeps workstation clean and sanitized. 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware and grilling equipment. Helps with other tasks as assigned by Manager on Duty. Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation Qualifications Equivalent experience and familiarity with basic cooking supplies and equipment is preferred. Restaurant experience preferred Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices Must maintain good hygiene Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain great enthusiasm Be a team player with strong work ethics Must be able to work holiday season (Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year) Must be available to work at least 4 shifts a week.
