A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to provide coverage at a retail pharmacy closely linked to a hospital setting in Sedgwick, Colorado. This per diem position covers two specific weeks: August 24th through August 28th and September 21st through September 25th. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver thorough patient counseling to promote safe medication use
• Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications
• Perform final verifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage daily pharmacy operations as if it were your own, demonstrating accountability and leadership

Qualifications and Experience:

• Clear and active Colorado Pharmacist license required
• Recent experience working as a pharmacist preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage both patient interactions and pharmacy workflow effectively

• Supportive team including 2 full-time pharmacy technicians and occasional PRN pharmacist coverage
