Accounts Payable Manager

DescriptionKforce's client near the Fond du Lac, WI area is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role within a well-established finance team, where you'll oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable function and help shape a high-performing AP team supporting U.S. operations.Duties:* Take ownership of the AP function, ensuring processes run smoothly, accurately, and in line with internal controls* Serve as a go-to resource for resolving escalations and driving timely issue resolution* Partner across departments and build strong relationships with both internal teams and external vendors* Monitor and reconcile AP-related accounts, ensuring accuracy across financial reporting* Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations* Play a key role in sales/use tax processes and assist during audits* Contribute to cash flow forecasting and broader financial planning efforts* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency* Coach and develop the AP team, helping elevate overall performanceRequirements* Background in Accounting or Finance (Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred)* Someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment* A hands-on leader who can mentor a team while driving accountability* Strong ERP experience (Oracle is a plus) and solid Excel skills* Working knowledge of sales and use tax, ideally in a manufacturing setting* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approachNice to have:* Prior leadership experience* Exposure to procure-to-pay processes* General accounting experience beyond APJob TypeDirect HireCompensation90000 - $125000
