Food Service Production Rep (Cook)Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (with every other weekend rotation)Location: Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, Germantown, MarylandPosition Purpose:The Food Service Production Rep (Cook) prepares specified items by following recipes and culinary standards set by the chef and retail managerAs a Food Service Production Rep (Cook) you will:Operate safely and effectively industrial kitchen equipment when needed and using appropriate culinary tools in a safe manner.Consistently keeps the department in a way that meets and exceeds all state, county and regulatory agency compliance.Performs all other duties as assigned.Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.Minimum Qualifications:Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience.Ability to use culinary tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, steamers, kettles, and slicersFood Safety and sanitation knowledgeAbility to read and follow recipes written in EnglishAbility to add and subtract numbersHave or pursuing high school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in EnglishPreferred:Retail cook, restaurant experiencePay Range: $18.00 - $22.85Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
