OR Registered Nurse - 7AM to 7:30PM

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7AM - 7:30PM

Job Description: The OR Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care within the Operating Room. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring a sterile environment, assisting with surgical procedures, and maintaining the overall safety and care of patients during their surgical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and arrange necessary equipment.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical instruments.
• Maintain inventory records for surgical equipment and supplies.
• Provide pre and post-surgical care including dressing application and patient transport.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Strong experience in ortho, neuro, robotics, and willingness to float to general OR.
