Be good with people (genuinely good with people) and enjoy relationship building.Ability to maintain an open and honest communication with your team and management.Independence, yet a team player mentalityExemplary written and verbal communication skills.Advanced computer skills with a high level of efficiency in Microsoft Suite.Experience with Yardi Voyager and Yardi Rent Café.Experienced Property Manager with a high level of acumen to achieve objectives as assigned.Ability to recruit and supervise successful management teams in a growing portfolio.Proven track record for successful lease ups of new communities.Proven track record for maintaining high occupancy and collection rates, as well as working within budgetary restrictions.Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Associate degree and 3 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.Certifications in LIHTC, HUD and RD preferred.Expertise with real-world Sales/Business Development experience working on interesting and complex business problems.Experience with the rehabilitation and lease up of communities.Position requires travel to Community and/or Community locations and surrounding markets.Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing and walking, giving tours, and meeting with potential tenants.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather.
