Housekeeper – PRN

Facility: Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Massapequa, NY
Position: Housekeeper – PRN
Shift: PRN 7am-3pm
Pay: $21.00–$22.00 per hour

Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a PRN basis. The Housekeeper will help maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

• Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and disinfect floors

• Clean carpets, walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, furnishings, and fixtures

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner

• Remove trash, waste, dust, and debris using appropriate procedures and cleaning products

• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures

• Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, accidents, or other issues to a supervisor promptly

• Properly handle and turn in lost and found items

• Coordinate with nursing and other facility staff when cleaning resident care areas

• Follow all HIPAA, infection control, OSHA, and facility safety guidelines

• Maintain a professional and respectful environment for residents at all times

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and safety practices

• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and properly use cleaning supplies

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Dependable, punctual, and professional

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of assigned areas
